Anita has started creating our film review and then we took in turns as she was stuck and needed our help in order to develop and improve it. We have used various real media products as shown on our research case studies and this has benefited us by helping us improve our film review.
From then on, we have improved as we filled in the empty spaces of the double page spread and it has saved our time management. We were using the InDesign software as we have had experience on it before, last year when we were creating our own music magazine. This has helped me remember some of the basic knowledge that I have learnt a year before and used it when I was creating the film review. The layout structure was quite complicated because there were different layout structure to choose from based on our case studies so we decided to keep it simple and structure the images and journalism text in common places like you would normally see in magazines.
Also, we have encountered and maintained the same house style for example, the colour scheme of our video and print product which was red, black and white This was to illustrate the genre of our film which was horror/thriller based.
